[Vision2020] Candidate Gresham Bouma (State Senator, District 6)

Excellent point, Reggie.  Since before the primary, it's been horrifyingly
amusing to me that neither Bouma nor Young seem to have much of a clue as to
what the responsibilities would be of the offices they are running for
(perhaps the local GOP has let them down there), although both can blow
unending amounts of hot air about their misunderstandings of the US
Constitution and the evils of socialist Muslim Obama.  What whack jobs!

 

OTOH, maybe they have delusions of grandeur since one of their party's
insane planks is to repeal the Seventeenth Amendment (and let's not forget
the loyalty oath), which provides for popular election of US senators.  WTG,
Republican Tea Party!  I just love the undeniable elitism inherent in such a
plank . . . you don't trust we-the-people to elect our own Senators!  How's
that for hypocrisy?  Government bad; people good - but not good enough to
elect our own senators.  LOL - proof positive that no one ever accused the
Republican Tea Party of being logical!

Most telling Bouma Quote:  "I'm not as familiar with . . . what may or may
not be going on in State government."

Not surprising, considering the fact that if you check his facebook feed,
blog, etcetera, all you ever see him talk about is federal issues.  Why is
he running for state office, again?
