I'm just delighted, Rob, that you were so entertained. I try. But, between you and me, we're probably the only ones who find my litany of talking points amusing, so I think we probably ought to acknowledge that most people think that poverty, bigotry, and an ill-informed electorate are kinda serious -- just so, you know, no one could accuse us of being callous in our relative affluence or anything.

Personally, and with all respect, I find your assertion that voters nationwide are "VERY informed this election" a bit odd, given as it comes, as I'm sure it does, from a man who has not been living among the Yanomami people deep in the Amazon, utterly without access to the media, for the last couple of years. If the disparity in wealth, security, opportunity and justice between the poor and the not-poor doesn't particularly concern you, then I would think you'd at least take notice of the fact that a significant swath of the electorate -- particularly, this season, the fringe Right and the Tea Party -- can't grasp the simple fact that the Medicare-paid scooters on which they zip to and from rallies come from the government they demonize. Or think the President orchestrated, falsely, his own birth announcement in a Hawaiian newspaper three days post-partum. Or respect the leader of the GOP when he refers to combat in Afghanistan and Iraq as "Obama's wars," even though Barack Obama is on record opposing them and George W. Bush on record, historically and verifiably, for having begun them. "Historically" and "verifiably" are important here, Rob, and you might want to filter the information you get through a grid of accountability and verification rather than a sinkhole of vitriol and ignorance.

Unfortunately, when you start to examine the issues with eyes not clouded by bias, you probably won't end up chuckling. The truth about the United States these days isn't real entertaining. But don't worry -- if you need a good laugh, I'll loan you my copy of "Dumb and Dumber."

That was very entertaining. I think you hit just about every talking point.

I'm detecting a little "Uneasiness" on the part of the progressives today. I think you know what is coming tonight, so the voters must be "Ill-informed".

I think there is little doubt that the voters are VERY informed this election. They didn't hear or realize what "Funtamentally Change America" meant before the last election, but they know now. And they don't like it.

No sense talking about Pelosi anymore...She won't be speaker after tonight.

Rob
