Roger,
A big difference with Pearl Harbor and 9/11 is that there WERE
consequences for the military leaders that should have been on guard,
deserving them or not.
The Admiral and General in charge of the Pacific Fleet (Admiral
Kimmel) and Hawaiian Department ( General Short) were relieved. As was
the Chief of Naval Operations, Admiral Harold Stark.
For the 9/11 General's and Admiral's, nothing!
All I'd like to see is some accountability from the folks that drew a
pay check for defending the US on 9/11 and didn't.
