There is a conflict of individual rights between that of the pharmacist and the patient. Since another pharmacist can usually be found that will fill a prescription, both of their individual rights should be able to be fulfilled. The trouble with this bill is that it includes all health care givers, not just pharmacists. It states that no health care professional shall be required to provide any health care service that violate his or her conscience. This includes end of life treatment and care. Those people with living wills should not have to worry about whether their wishes will be honored. The end of life provision should be stricken from the bill .
