[Vision2020] Something to Ponder

I guess I'm trying to figure out what Velarde's status as a "decent," or "descendant," of Navajo Code Talkers has to do with legitimate criticism of his obnoxious views, particularly those involving public education, which is a crucial component in raising the poor, including Navajos on the reservation, out of poverty.

I don't much care how or if Velarde served in the armed forces. I care very much that he uses his grandparents' brave and noble service to support his whining, which in this case sounds very much like the "race card" victimization his type despise so much in "liberals."
