I guess I'm trying to figure out what Velarde's status as a "decent," or "descendant," of Navajo Code Talkers has to do with legitimate criticism of his obnoxious views, particularly those involving public education, which is a crucial component in raising the poor, including Navajos on the reservation, out of poverty.<br><br>I don't much care how or if Velarde served in the armed forces.
