Free Public Activities at the Moscow Food Co-op in August 
  
Art 
  
The Moscow Food Co-op as part of Moscow's Artwalk, welcomes artist Traci Haselhuhn, who will display her work in the Co-op's deli gallery.  The opening reception is from 5:30 - 7 p.m., Friday, August, and the show runs through September 8.  Haselhuhn is a Moscow native and a self-taught artist.  She uses a wide range of mediums from acrylics to watercolor to Sharpie pens. 
The Co-op is located at 121 East Fifth Street in downtown Moscow.

Music 
The Moscow Food Co-op's Tuesday Night Music Series concerts are held every Tuesday from 5-7 p.m.  The free, outdoor live music performances coincide with the Co-op's Tuesday Grower's Market and BBQ in the parking lot, which run every Tuesday from 4:30 - 6:30 p.m.

Co-op Kids! 
Children and their caregivers are welcome for the following Co-op Kids activities.  Co-op Kids meets weekly and all events are all free, with snacks and materials donated by the Moscow Food Co-op. 
9 a.m., Tuesday, August 3:  Meet at the Moscow Food Co-op Café to make art projects. 
9 a.m., Tuesday, August 10: Meet at Friendship Square in downtown Moscow to play. 
9 a.m., Tuesday, August 17:  Meet at the Moscow Food Co-op Café for kids cooking. 
9 a.m., Tuesday, August 24: Meet at Friendship Square in downtown Moscow for bubble fun. 
9 a.m., Tuesday, August 31: Meet at the Moscow Food Co-op Café to make mini Zen gardens.

Co-op Mamas and Papas Group 
The Co-op Mamas and Papas group for expecting parents and parents of newborns meets each Wednesday at 9:30 - 11 a.m. in the Co-op Deli.  In August, meet for conversation and informal talks by experienced parents and experts about alternative health including homeopathy. Complementary beverages will be provided.  Those interested in receiving notifications about speakers and special coupons can sign up for our email list by sending a message to babies at moscowfood.coop.
