[Vision2020] ITD vs IDOT

Deb's last post (go get 'em girl) reminded me of a question I have.

I remember Idaho's transportation department being called IDOT rather 
then ITD, I remember thinking how appropriate the acronym almost was 
when I saw the signs.

Anyone know when they changed it? Or am I just hallucinating a memory?
