[Vision2020] Question for Isaac Young . . .

I'd love to hear how endangering citizens by reducing regulation on all business is helpful. What specific regulations governing specific businesses would he like to reduce or eliminate? (He said reduce, but in order to "reduce" regulations, unless you mean "reduce the effectiveness of" those regulations, you have to eliminate some). Of course, with more than a billion bucks worth of cuts to state government, life in Idaho could be fairly miserable, such that a headlong dive into an open sewage pit . . . for example . . . might be welcome.

Subject: [Vision2020] Question for Isaac Young . . .

Since
Isaac Young’s email address is not available on his Facebook page at:

I
will ask this question here.

To
preface my question . . .

A
quote from Isaac Young’s Facebook page:

“We
save money at the state level by limiting the size of state government. The
money we save by doing this will allow us to eliminate the state income tax.
Then every one is taxed fairly (sales tax) by their life style and how much
they consume. By reducing the regulations on all business and streamlining the
permit process, you are able to get citizens to work more quickly.”

The
state of Idaho received $1.3 billion (that’s BILLION with a “B”)
in income tax revenue for 2009, as substantiated in the link below.

State Income Tax Revenue for 2009

My
question: What state government positions would you (Isaac Young)
eliminate . . . or which state programs would you (Isaac Young)
eliminate/reduce . . . to make up for this annual loss of $1+ billion in state
income tax?

Sidebar
to Mr. Young: You can answer the question here on Vision 2020 or when the
telephone rings at KUOI or KRFP during each of your broadcast call-in debates.

The
people of Idaho’s 6th Congressional District have a right to
know.
