[Vision2020] Beds

One of the more off the wall questions posed here.....I recently had cervical spine surgery and have realized that my current bed (which I think was first owned by a member of the Theodore Roosevelt administration) probably isn't helping much in the recovery process.  In researching, (Googling), I'm inundated with brand recommendations, firmness recommendations, and rather stunned by sticker shock.  These babies ain't cheap.  Anyone out there have personal experience with a particular brand that you would recommend, particularly for someone with neck and back issues?  And also, you want to loan me about $67,000 so I can buy a new one?  Off-list replies would be welcome.
