Greetings Visionaires -
Arizona Senate Bill 1070 (immigration; law enforcement; safe
neighborhoods), a bill strongly supported by John McCain during his
current campaign, passed both Arizona's State Senate and House of
Representatives today.
-------------------------------------------------------------
Among this bill's many provisions is that it . . .
"Allows a law enforcement officer, without a warrant, to arrest a person
if the officer has probable cause to believe that the person has committed
any public offense that makes the person removable from the U.S."

-----------------
Sec. 3. Title 13, chapter 15, Arizona Revised Statutes has been amended
to include, as a crime . . .
"13-1509. Willful failure to complete or carry an alien registration
document; assessment; exception; authenticated records; classification."

-------------------------------------------------------------
In short, if a person merely looks as if (s)he may be an undocumented
alien, and is not carrying their "alien registration document", (s)he may
be arrested.
No, this is NOT 1938 Nazi Germany. This is 2010 in John McCain's Arizona.
Question: How soon before Governor Otter follows suit?
