Spokane County bomb squad detonates suspected bomb making material

COEUR D' ALENE, Idaho - The Spokane County bomb squad detonated what
authorities suspected to be bomb making materials around 9:30 PM Sunday
evening following a traffic stop made by Idaho State Police.

The material was discovered during a search of the vehicle after being
pulled over for reckless driving around 3:10 PM Sunday. Weapons were also
found. Both the driver and passenger were taken into custody.

Authorities were not able to say what the detonated materials were because
the investigation is ongoing
