So after the US, with backing from Blair's UK government, overthrew a
dictator in Iraq to ostensibly promote human rights, democracy and freedom,
Chinese interests operating under a one party human rights abusing
dictatorship gain rights to Iraq oil? Of course, as long as China is
complicit in offering its cheap captive abundant labor to facilitate
multinational corporations to make billions, the US, a nation controlled in
large measure by the interests of multinational corporations, might not be
inclined to resist China's need for energy that will power the very
industries in China that the multinational corporations are making a killing
on. And where will this wealth flow in the US? Primarily to the top 1
percent, is my guess:
