Although our similarities were extremely limited, it is with humane sorrow
that I relay the sad news, from Dale Courtney's blog Right-Mind, of the
death of Chris Witmer . . .

For his family, I share a poem my sister shared with me upon the passing
of my mother . . .

"If tears could build a stairway
And heartache make a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven,
And bring you back again.

Our family chain is broken
And nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one
The chain will link again."
