[Vision2020] time to drink more Pepsi?

First, It isn't a "Medical Fact". It is a statistic.

Second, statistically we should all be lesbians if we want to be safe from STDs and AIDS. Statistically, we should all be educated white men if we want to have health insurance. Statistically, we should not be born Black if we want to live old enough to collect Social Security. BUT FACT, we don't get to choose who we are.

Finally, we can choose to deduce people to statistics and say one group of people is better over another because of the statistics. Or we can realize our bigotry and discrimination is what creates the disparities between two groups of people and correct our ways of thinking and acting to eliminate them.

AFA contributes to the depression and drug use, advocates risky single life for gay men, and rejects them as human beings deserving of equality in a society. It is FACT that rejection by society increases depression and drug use.

MEDICAL FACT is that homosexuality is not a mental illness, and it is a MEDICAL FACT sexuality is not a choice.

First - I was making anecdotal statements during my lunch hour, not really enough time to find all of the research and make a empirical argument against this statement.

Second - How about you supply us with your 10 minute search results.  I would love to know what is out there.

Third - I think you missed the greater points, or maybe I didn't communicate it well enough.    A.  That maybe there would not be such a high rate of these issues in the GLBT population, if, groups like the AFA and others did not try to make our lives harder on a regular basis.  B.  That it is not ok to treat an entire group of people like they are second class dirty, awful, sinful, disgusting people.
