[Vision2020] Schroeder's Tactics Underhanded

I'm curious to know if Senator Schroeder feels as strongly about the council usurping the 1st Amendment as he does about the mayor inquiring about controlling guns within the city.

After all, John Weber voted to pass a noise ordinance that allows police officers to issue a citation to anyone at anytime for any noise the officer deems offensive even if no one complains.

Did Schroeder warn his constituents about Weber's lack of respect for the 1st Amendment?

"Congress shall make no law... abridging the freedom of speech"

That includes the council, who did pass an unconstitutionally overbroad and vague law.

But maybe Schroeder really only cares if you can carry a gun, not about how much free speech you have. My guess is he's not surprisingly playing politics as usual.

Thankfully his tactic didn't get Weber elected...
