<html><head><style type="text/css"><!-- DIV {margin:0px;} --></style></head><body><div style="font-family:'times new roman', 'new york', times, serif;font-size:12pt"><div></div><div>I'm curious to know if Senator Schroeder feels as strongly about the council usurping the 1st Amendment as he does about the mayor inquiring about controlling guns within the city.</div><div><br></div><div>After all, John Weber voted to pass a noise ordinance that allows police officers to issue a citation to anyone at anytime for any noise the officer deems offensive even if no one complains. </div><div><br></div><div>Did Schroeder warn his constituents about Weber's lack of respect for the 1st Amendment?</div><div><br></div><div>"Congress shall make no law... abridging the freedom of speech"</div><div><br></div><div>That includes the council, who did pass an unconstitutionally overbroad and vague law.</div><div><br></div><div>But maybe Schroeder really only cares
if you can carry a gun, not about how much free speech you have.
