How tragic and frustrating for the retirees. Hopefully there is an appeals
process.
Furthermore, the UI may win this at the cost of gaining another big black
smudge on its image.

against it by a group of former UI employees.
Stegners written decision was filed Monday. He wrote the UI reserved the
right to modify or cancel the benefits of any and all retirees, including
the two classes of retirees in the lawsuit.
