[Vision2020] Obama to Name Sotomayor as Supreme Court Pick

This is true, but that should not be a reason to appoint her. I am not concerned if a nominee is liberal or conservative or what their background is. Thomas also had long struggle to get where he is. How they view the constitution is what is important. A liberal candidate can be just aa valid a nominee as a conservative one. How good a constitutional scholar ther are is important. Most of Sotomeyer's decisions have been overturned by higher courts. This would lead one to be a little concerned about the validity of her interpretations of the law.
