[Vision2020] Say What?

Arnold inquires:

"Pehaps what we should ask instead is, how can we work to improve the
living conditions of 90% of the world?"

You may be on to something, Arnold.

What we need is a group of people willing to donate/contribute their time
for the sole purpose of improving the living conditions of the less
fortunate in other countries . . . third-world countries, if you will.

A "corps" of volunteers dispersed throughout the world, not just bearing
fish but teaching the local inhabitants how to fish (as the analogy
goes). This might also subsequently result in a culture at peace, not
only among themselves, but with the world at large . . . a kind of corps
for peace.

And we, the United States, can be the organizers/originators of such
a "corps for peace".

This Corps for Peace can assume a globally-beneficial agenda of teaching
people in less fortunate third-world countries skills like farming.
medicine, etc. etc.

Maybe even . . . dare I mention . . .

Nah, it'll never catch on. We should have thought of this Corps for Peace
a lot sooner than now . . . maybe back in the early 60s, under Kennedy.

Nice try, though.
