[Vision2020] Duplex fire: Possible homicide

At approximately 7:51 a.m., June 24, 2009, the Moscow Fire Department and officers of the Moscow Police Department responded to 904 Vandal Drive, apt. B for a structure fire.  After the fire was extinguished fire department personnel discovered a body located in the residence. The body has been identified as Sarah J. Parks, DOB: 07-08-80.  
 
On June 25, 2009 an autopsy was performed on Sarah Parks. The preliminary autopsy report indicates the victim, Sarah Parks, was deceased prior to the fire.  As a result the Latah County Major Crime Team is treating the investigation as a homicide. 
 
The Crime Team is asking anyone who has information to contact the Moscow Police Department at 208-883-7067.   Anyone with information who wishes to remain anonymous can call Latah County/Moscow Police Department Crime Tip Line at 208-892-3898 and leave a message.  
 
Information which leads to the arrest and conviction of a perpetrator(s) may be eligible for a monetary reward.
