Actually, Garrett, it's the number of children a woman has that 
determines gayness.  That is, if a woman has lots of children then the 
probability of the next youngest one being gay rises.  It has something 
to do with the mother's hormonal response to the fetus.  Same conclusion 
though, it's probably an evolutionary response to overpopulation, or 
over successful breeding.

Oh, and g, how would you like to be banned from visiting your wife in 
the hospital or making the critical decisions that may be required just 
because the state fails to recognize your marriage?
