Angry and incredibly self righteous, are we? That all by itself is worth the price of the Saturday matinee! It's always a spectacle to watch the pompous give vent to their self perceived superiority. Thank you for giving me that opportunity.

My goodness, Mr. Crabtree - your oversized ego has steered you wrong again: it was Palin I was referring to, not you. During her confused, nonsensical, and even cowardly "I quit" speech, she herself said she's not a quitter. That's what I find hilarious - that her intellectual capacity is so scandalously deficient she's unable to see why professing to not be a quitter while, in fact, actively quitting just doesn't measure up to any kind of higher office. Poor little Shotgun Sarah just can't see where she went oh, so wrong.

And then there are people like you, Mr. Crabtree, who think if they screw their own eyes tightly shut the rest of us won't see her glaring failures, either. Lucky for this nation, most of us know better. You really are easy to please, aren't you? As long as she's anti-choice, you'll willingly follow Palin into the fires of Liars' Hell, all the while trying to fault those of us who think truth, honesty, bravery, and integrity are virtues. In your world, paying lip service to "family values" trumps actually having ethical or moral values. How very sad for you, although I do believe the willingness to swallow such double-talk is one of the biggest problems this country has.

Take, for instance, the shrill insistence of Palinbots - and of Palin herself - that of course she'd be able to be an effective VP while also being a wife and mother, and most especially a good mother to her special needs infant Trig. Yet in her "I quit" speech, she specifically cited Trig needing her as one of the reasons she was quitting being governor of the great state of Alaska.

Would special needs Trig have needed her any less if the Palin-McCain ticket had won and Palin was VP? Of course not, but my hunch is she would have been willing to continue to ignore his needs if she was the VP. Either that, or she'd be quitting that now. As it is, all Palin accomplished was depriving that precious baby of his particularly special need for a 24/7 mother for the time she was on the campaign trail putting her career aspirations ahead of her baby. That's not what I'd call "family values" and, frankly, it's quite telling that you disagree.

I can confidently say that if Hillary Clinton who had done what Palin did with respect to her baby, you'd have rabidly attacked her for putting her political aspirations ahead of her baby's needs.

Hypocrisy doesn't look any better on you than on anyone else.

" Now, *that's* funny coming for someone who says she's not a quitter."

And I said this where? I believe in a earlier post I made it abundantly clear that I was disappointed in Ms. Palin stepping down from her post as governor and that it would be hurtful to any future political aspirations. I guess it must be much easier for you to fabricate a position for me and then disagree with it than to deal with what I actually write.

Oh and by the way, being a "quitter" is a shortcoming, to be sure, but it hardly qualifies as a scandal.

Bwahahahaha. Thanks for the laugh -- it was much appreciated this AM :-)

To me, perhaps the biggest scandal is that Palin turned out to be nothing
more than a quitter. By golly -- that's just exactly what we need in
government's highest office! When the going gets tough, the tough run the
other direction. Shoot -- even Bush 43 didn't tuck tail & run the way Palin
did, and he faced far more significant challenges than Palin ever has.

Now, tell the truth, Mr. Crabtree: when Palin quipped at the RNC about
lipstick being the difference between hockey moms & pit bulls, did you think
she was including herself in either tenacious category? Looks like the
joke's on you & all the others who didn't understand the truth just wasn't
  in Palin from the get-go.

Perhaps we all should be grateful we learned ***now*** that Palin can't take
the heat without running from the kitchen & turning herself into a "poor
me!" victim whining about how the big bad media picked on her. Now,
*that's* funny coming for someone who says she's not a quitter.
