[Vision2020] January 28, 1986

I was in downtown Spokane and I stopped to watch the launch on a bank of
televisions in a window display. When the shuttle exploded, it seemed as
though everything went silent. I could see the reflection of cars passing on
the street, but there was no sound. I just just stood, alone, in front of
the display in disbelief for what seemed forever before going home.
