You are wrong, Arnold.

If you took the time to actually attend a city council session or viewed
it on TV (as you suggest), you would find that topics brought up during
the "Public Commentary" portion are either discussed immediately by the
council and staff or researched during the subsequent 2-3 weeks and
discussed at the next city council session or both.

I have video files of every . . . let me reiterate "EVERY" . . . city
council session since (and including) December 17, 2007. Although I may
tend to question (or doubt) some of our council member's "agendas", each
and every one of them takes the "Public Commentary" portion of each (and
every) city council session VERY seriously. I have seen comments
presentesd during the "Public Commentary" portion evolve into major topics
and, in some cases, result in amendments to, or creation of new, city
codes.

So, Arnold, before you criticize what you consider to be our city
council's lack of conern, I suggest that you attend the next session and
present your argument. If nothing comes from it, THEN and only then do
you have a right to question the concerns of our elected city officials.
