Seems to me that the real analogy should be:

So if Mr. Bush used the tools given to him by the congress to kill Mr. Terrorist, Shouldn't we be glad that Mr. T is dead and bake Mr. B a cake?

No, I would say that Mr. X, killed Mr. Y, because Mr. Y was a bad man trying to kill Mr. and Ms. A. and all the other letters of the alphabet, both upper and lower cases.

So if Mr. X killed Mr. Y and I said that Mr. X
was bad, would you make a similar reply?
"Mr. X was not the first person to murder ..."

I am no fan of Bush. But let us get our facts straight.

The Bush administration is not the first, nor will it be the last to use, "illegal
NSA wiretaps, Gitmo, waterboarding, extraordinary rendition, extreme
expansion of executive power, or signing statements."

Congress voted for and passed the Patriot Act, and the Democratic Congress has not reversed it. Democrats also voted to dedicate resources and military efforts in Iraq instead of going after UBL.

It was well written, but it skimmed over some of the more egregious
effects of his presidency. No mention of the "Patriot" act, illegal
NSA
wiretaps, Gitmo, waterboarding, extraordinary rendition, extreme
expansion of executive power, or signing statements.

Can't film critics form opinions like everybody else?
