I know of at least one local business that was pushed out of the mall in
favor of large chains - Lefty's. Perhaps a mall just down the road will
prompt them to rethink their current pricing structure for local businesses.
I'm curious if the benefit that the new development might have of
bringing more shoppers into the vicinity will outweigh the effects of
current PEM customers leaving to shop at Hawkins instead.
