I am not objecting to Keith per se. I known him and he is a fine man. What I am saying is that running as a Democrat or a Republican undercuts his and The Common Interest's credibility as being non-partisan. If he ran as an independent he could maintain that credibility. Realizing of course it would be harder to get elected as an independent.

The Common Interest has been a good group thad does researh on the issues and puts out detailed papers an a factual bases. A lot of legistators have looked to them for information. I think that running for Governor is an unwise dession on Keiths part. It undermines his credibility and also that of The Common Interest.
