[Vision2020] Gay Marriage benefits for Gary

It would probably be best if government got out of the marriage business. It is not feasible for older people who would like to get married to do so. They would lose the SS they get from a deceased spouse and their estate which thy would like to go to their offspring, might be in danger. They sometimes will live together and may feel they are living in sin. There is no reason they should have any guilt about it.
