"Just because you know where I live -- and
felt free to post it on V2020"

followed by

"I never said you posted my specific address on V2020"

Should I assume that if you continue to post on the subject you will eventually make up your mind? I'm skeptical.

>From the post in question dated 060331:

"NSA is tax exempt no matter where they go. Downtown, Third St,
Washington, Jackson, Sixth, or Highland Dr. all the same, all tax exempt."

At no point did I tie any of these streets to you. The particular one you happen to live on was chosen because of another who happens to also live on the same st. (as I'm sure you were all too well aware) who was much closer to the topic being discussed at the time.

Now, as you say, back to the matter at hand. As I made clear in my original post on the topic, use what ever derogatory term you choose. I'm sure it's loads of fun for you and your pals to make your smirking, giggling comments and thinly veiled innuendos and it's always much easier to belittle those you disagree with rather than to effectively refute their point. And since you seem to be a bit perplexed as to what that was allow me to enlighten. Borrowing huge sums of money to run up the deficit, as GW did, was extremely bad for our economy and our county. To make the same mistake, do it in an exponentially larger way, and instead of borrowing the money printing it, is a total horror show. To make matters worse, we are seeing much of this imaginary money being used to pave the way for new entitlement programs that will further cripple the economy. This is what the people you disparage, republicans, democrats, libertarians, and anyone with a smattering of concern for the future of our Republic are worried about and rightly so.

Now, I will await your next sputtering, angry poodle outburst (I'm particularly atwitter to hear more of the "interesting stories" insinuation) but I'm afraid I am going to have to move on to matters of greater interest than responding to your self induced outrage.

Ta,

Unfortunately, reading comprehension isn't your strong point.

I never said you posted my specific address on V2020. You posted the street I lived on & tied it to me, which is a far different thing than merely "making mention" of random street names in the CBD (I haven't a clue what you're talking about re: Residence or Cherry Streets since I don't see those in the archive - more dishonesty???), a distinction anyone with a functioning brain recognizes.

As for me posting it for you . . . what are you -- daft?! While where I live certainly isn't top secret, you posting it in a public forum crossed the line, which is also something anyone with a functioning brain realizes.

And, if you don't understand why it's both creepy and pathetic (to use your word) for you to not only know where I live but feel free to post it on V2020, particularly when we - as you yourself posted - have never met nor have I ever knowingly been within 100 yards of you, either you're far more stupid than I'd ever have thought or you're being disingenuous. My vote is for the later.

But, let's get back to the topic at hand: you find objectionable the whole teabagging thing. I get it, and I'm sorry those you chose to let take over a truly populist movement were too ignorant to realize it was inevitable once the issue was hijacked. And, I'm also sorry your vocabulary is lacking, and that you've been so far under a rock that you think I or Nancy Pelosi or those on MSNBC or whatever other scary liberals were clever enough to come up with "teabagging" an "Astroturfing" and to know in advance they would come in handy in 2009 to apply to a hijacked movement.

I personally don't have any problem refraining from using "teabagging" for those involved in the original (pre-hijacked) movement who object when they've not deliberately and repeatedly directed offensive terms at those with whom they disagree. You, however, are not in that category for obvious reasons, and you're being nothing more than a rank hypocrite by bringing your offense up. As long as you continue to dish it out, you should certainly be willing to take it without whining.

Now, you're as entitled as the next person to be a hypocrite, but don't expect to not be called on it.

Unfortunately you have slipped from amusing to pathetic.

Why don't you post the V2020 item in which I posted your address to this list? I fairly sure you won't since it didn't happen. I DID on one occasion, in a joking post, mention the street on which you apparently live. If that qualifies for "creepy, creepy, creepy" all I can say is your heebie jeebie factor is set as low as your tolerance for an opposing view point.

In other posts I have made to this forum I have made mention of Main st, Third st, Sixth st, the Troy Rd, A st, Washington, Jackson, Cherry, and Residence. My apologies to any and all vision members who may live on any of these roadways. It was not my intention to cause you to delude yourself into believing you were being stalked.
