[Vision2020] Watch Virginia To Know Election Outcome

Virginia will be the state that lets us know Obama has won the election. Without it, McCain cannot win 270, and with it, Obama will have at least 272 electoral votes, he only needs 270 to win. 
 
Obama has a 10+ point lead in states totaling 259 electoral votes. These are liberal leaning states, that voted for Kerry and Gore, plus Iowa with 7 more which Obama was leading in since the beginning of his campaign 21 months ago. They are pretty much locked for Obama. 
 
Chances are the battleground states of Ohio, North Carolina, Indiana, Missouri and Florida will be too close and problematic for us to know the results for sure before Virginia. Colorado, New Mexico, Montana, North Dakota, and Nevada are either too small or too late in the game to turn the election. 
 
When the major news networks announce Virginia as going to Obama sometime between 8 PM and 12 Midnight EST, they will in effect be calling the entire election for Obama, regardless of the election returns and voting problems from the remaining swing states.
 
Obama was smart to avoid the election problems of 2000 which will most likely repeat in this election.  
 
Obama has about an 8 point lead in Virginia.
