Visionaries,

Let us all pray for greater bouts of arthritis for Ms. Mix.

The less she writes, the less she lies.

Arthritis is good for her soul.

However, she raised an interesting point yesterday when she said,
"And, for the record, I think P. Diddy is an idiot. So is anyone who
thinks he speaks for African Americans."

The question is this: Does the African-American community have an
official or unofficial spokesman, and if they do, who is it and how
did they obtain the position and/or office?

Ms Mix thinks that Puff Diddy is an idiot and she thinks that anyone
who thinks he speaks for the African-American community is an idiot as
well.

She and I agree on this point but I would add that this probably makes
every Crip, Blood, gang banger, and ACORN employee in America an
idiot.

Who, however, speaks for the African-American community?

All would probably agree that Jesse Jackson has been on the main stage
for the longest length of time, presenting himself as someone seeking
justice for the disenfranchised African-American community.

But while the Rev. Jackson stumps in public for more this and more
that for his African-American community, he uses an entirely different
vocabulary when he's not on the stump.

For example, FOX News recorded him saying, "Barack, been, um, talking
down to black people on this faith based . . . I want to cut his nuts
off. . . Barack, talking down to black people, telling niggers what to
do."

Quotations like this make my life difficult because I ask questions
that make people squirm and rather than answer them honestly, they
call ME the racist.

But let's take the Rev Jacksons' words and test Ms Mix's "spokesman" theory.

Jesse Jackson puts himself forward as a spokesman for the
African-American community. This is why Fox News had him as a guest
(alongside another black man that I can't identify). Jackson whispers
violent, racist epithets about another black man to the black man
sitting next to him which gave me the sense that they had an
understanding, i.e., they understood that between themselves as black
men they could say the word "nigger" with impunity and express extreme
violence against their fellow black man.

That's my sense, at least, and I'm not a racist for observing it.

However, many of you will probably call me a racist for asking the
following question.

Since Jesse Jackson is a spokesman for the African-American community,
and since Jesse Jackson refers to his fellow "blacks" whom he
represents as "niggers," can we not say that Jesse Jackson is a
spokesman for the "Nigger-American community"?

(Holding my ears as everyone screams RACIST!)

After everyone is done screaming RACIST, we can continue this conversation.
