pattern of behavior, which is what I was trying to illustrate, despite
the aptness -- or not -- of my analogy.

You are apparently contending that a mere two instances of a similar
or identical behavior are enough to constitute a pattern, which is
incorrect regardless of what categories of behavior we are speaking
of.
