"Caller IDs" already exist on all emails, Arnold.  The IP address of the 
originating computer, and all subsequent "relay points", are identified in 
the header of each mail, along with the time the email was transmitted.

Nowadays a copy of the originally received email is as legally sufficient 
as certified mail.
