[Vision2020] J.R. Simplot dies at 99

Pioneering Idaho businessman and billionaire J.R. Simplot died at about 11 
a.m. today at his condo in The Grove Hotel. He was 99.

Simplot had been fighting pneumonia in recent days, although he had not been 
hospitalized.
