That isn't what he is asserting, actually.  I provide  this recent
excerpt as evidence of your error:

"Donovan and other Xian believers don't KNOW that there IS life after
death, whereas I know that there is no evidence for such a claim. And
the more we learn in science, the more unrealistic such beliefs
become."

To wit, Ralph finds the Christian belief in an afterlife unrealistic,
but this is not the same as possessing certain knowledge of the
non-existence of an afterlife, which he has not claimed.  Ralph is
expressing the same reasonable doubt that a Christian might.
