Mac OS X is a Unix-based OS with an attractive and functional user
interface named Aqua.  I really can't recommend it highly enough.  It
soothes the geek in me, and also the fan of extremely capable yet
aesthetic toys/tools (for a geek, toys and tools are sometimes the
same thing).
