Donovan, I think that anybody who thinks this deserves what kind of
country they will get in return. Go read 1984, or watch the movie V for
Vendetta. Or just read about Germany's history.

So you've eliminated people who won't say the Pledge because of the
"under God" part. You've also eliminated the people who won't say it
because the idea of being forced to show loyalty to their country is
anathema to them, despite what they may actually think of it. As an
unintended side effect, you've eliminated some of those with mental
problems and a few with specific physical deformities. You've also
eliminated those who just arrived and haven't yet learned our language
well enough, but I doubt you care about that.

What you have left are the blindly obedient, the people who don't give a
rat's ass, and the people who have no problem saying the Pledge even if
they don't agree with what it says, i.e. people who don't care whether
or not they lie to your face.

The people that share the ideals under which this country was founded
will leave in droves after this comes to pass. Enjoy what's left.

Paul
