Texas came into the Union as an Independent Nation in 1845 and did reserve 
the right to secede.  Too bad those citizens didn't exercise that right 
about a decade ago.  Texas also has the right to self divide into six 
separate states should it choose to do so.  Wouldn't that be awful--five 
more right wing entities.  I say five, because surely one of those would 
turn out to be moderate to liberal.  I was thinking Dallas, but probably 
not.

Now if you have evidence to prove what I write here is incorrect, just don't 
let me know.  I learned all this in 6th grade Texas History Class, so it 
must be true.
