Paul,

If terrorists captured the Prince of England that would pose a serious problem for the British, and the US. You cannot see where that is an issue?

I think the difference has more to do with the character of the war than of the press. WWII was a large scale war with serious consequences for losing. There was an undeniable threat of such size that a national response had to be made. It's easy to get behind that.

Afghanistan is a different kettle of fish. It's possible that if we leave Afghanistan that some terrorists will make another attack here at home. Compared to possible invasion of our country, this pales in comparison. We've stepped up our actual security a little bit, we've increased out security theater a lot, and we've learned it's best to attack box-cutter wielding hijackers as citizens on planes no matter the cost.

Let's not even talk about Iraq. We'd be safer as a nation if we just got the hell out.

This doesn't excuse the leaking of secrets. I haven't been following this enough to know what was leaked. I just wanted to make it clear that WWII and what we have now are not even comparable.

He explained exactly his plan for invasion, in detail. Then he hold them, if you leak any of this, the invasion will fail, the war will be lost, and soldiers will die in vein. Not one of the hundreds of reports in that room said a word of the plan. In fact, they helped cover the plan.

  Today, we a different press.

I think the reports that exposed Prince Harry placed him, his fellow soldiers, and his country in danger.

If I was the British Government I would find these reporters and drop them off in Afghanistan and leave them there if they don't care about the welfare of their country and the brave men and women that fight for their right to have freedom of the press. Without the military putting their lives on the line, there would be NO press. These people are traitors to their country, clearly and simply.

  Best Regards,
