A non-binding resolution was narrowly passed in favor of open primaries. The State republican Central committee as the final say.
Govinor Otter, Mike Simpson and Bill Sali were speakers. The Key Note Address was given by Conrad Burns of Montana.
Party Unity was stressed by everyone.
Norm Semanko was elected State Chairman. Blake Hall and Cindy Moyle were elected National Committeeman and National Committeewoman
