MCA Schedules Forum on Smart Growth at Legacy Crossing URA

The Moscow Civic Association is sponsoring a free public forum at Moscow's 1912 Center at 7pm on Wednesday, June 18, about planning and ensuring a Smart Growth future for the Legacy Crossing Urban Renewal District. The discussion panel will include the director of Idaho Smart Growth from Boise.

The forum will be held town meeting style, focusing on audience questions and concerns. Panelists will include: Rachel Winer, the executive director of Idaho Smart Growth; Jon Anderson, owner of the Jackson Street Silos project, located within the Legacy Crossing District; and Rick Beebe, owner of property within the Legacy Crossing District.

The Legacy Crossing Urban Renewal District was created through the Moscow URA to foster economic development in the area between Moscow's historic downtown and the University of Idaho campus, an area designated as Legacy Crossing.
