As opposed to the current plan of paying a committee to select a interim president to hire a committee to select a new president. No, it makes more since to hire 50 people then to incorporate an incentive for the President of the UI to stick around and finish the job they were hired to do rather than just to walk off the job, according to Hansen?
If you pay the President $120K, how about changing it to $100, with $25 on the end if they finish the year. If he/she doesn't sign a new contract by the end of March, start looking for a new one before June. This would be cheaper than hiring committees to select interim and new president all the time.
Why are these things so hard for Hansen to digest and understand?
Best Regards,
Donovan

So, here we have "Arnold", the Arnold that continuously, ad nauseam,
reminds us that the University of Idaho is ripping off the Idaho tax payer
and is in cahoots with Gritman when it comes to local health care, the
Arnold that is now suggesting that tax payers provide a bonus to the UI
President for simply completing their term.
Jeesh!
