Chas,
Sorry to say for Clinton, if anything happens to Obama, her fault or not, she will be viewed as guilty in the eyes of millions of Americans, and the world. It's not as though nobody hasn't disappeared or died mysteriously that conflicted with Clinton's before.
The reason I would not vote for Obama if he put her on the ticket is because it would show he was not serious about change. I also don't think Obama would finish his term if she was VP.
I agree, she is so narcissistic she has an impossible time conceding to anyone. She thinks she is entitled to the be President.
I honestly believe, Obama needs to put a strong moderate/conservative white male with military or foreign experience on the ticket, such as Senator Webb from Virginia. A brilliant young intellectual with strong oratory and leadership skills is great for a President, but I also think that people need to fell secure from military invasion.
Best Regards,
Donovan

Clinton hasn't been given the VP nod yet, and I don't see it as
inevitable. Truthfully, I don't see that Clinton has even given up on
her presidential bid. She knows that superdelegates can change their
mind until August, and I firmly believe that this is the reason she
hasn't conceded: she's hoping that one of her acolytes will unearth
something vote-reversingly unsavory about Obama before then. I'd be
willing to bet she's surreptitiously funding the digging.
If Obama really wanted her as VP, I believe that he would have already
put her on the spot by asking her.
I would still reluctantly vote for Obama-Clinton before I would vote
for McCain-?, but it would be a close call.
Chas
