American History Magazine prints a list every year or so. They have usually sighted sources from a broad range of the political spectrum. Nixion is on quite a few of the lists. Your first web site is a largely a left wing view. Buchanan and Harding are on most everybody's list. A lot of conservatives would place FDR, Wilson and LBJ on the worst list, because of their expansion of the federal government (same reason the left rates them high) and their miserable foreign policy. LbJ made a mess out of the Viet Nam war and Wilson's German policy after World War I is at least partially responsible for World war II. At least FDR foreign policy was better. Lincoln and Washington are high on most peoples lists. A lot of us would place Reagan in this group.
