[Vision2020] Romney drops out!?

It seems to me the key to winning this race is
convincing Independents to vote for them.

If it's McCain vs. Clinton, perhaps more Inde's will
go towards McCain regardless of his running-mate, so
McCain would choose someone more conservative than
Condi (honestly, though, I don't know where exactly
she is on the "political spectrum")

McCain may be sensitive to leaving out anybody from
the Bush Admin in order to continue his "maverick"
perception.

>From what I can tell, Condi is one of the last
original senior officials of Bush's admin. It also
seems that there's been a continuation of similar
faces throughout every Repub's presidency since Nixon
(ie Cheney, Rumsfeld and all the other good old boys
who have been running our country)

I would be surprised if that strategy were completely
abandoned by McCain. Most of the other guys are too
old (even though McCain would be our oldest President
yet), and who better than a younger black woman to be
part of the "good old boys" club?

Clinton would be foolish not to pick Obama as her
running mate, and having Condi, an experienced foreign
policy person, would negate any claim on
Clinton/Obama's part of being an agent of change for
women/blacks.

Obama would be foolish to pick Clinton as his running
mate, so Condi would have 2 "minority" signatures over
Obama/whoever (and more than likely, Obama's running
mate will be male.)

Edwards would be good, as I like what he says, but my
preference would be Ralph Nader, who may very well
campaign for President. Appealing to Progressives is
good with me, despite whatever baggage Nader may have
(and really, who doesn't have baggage?)

Nader has a record of working on changing America for
the better for 40 years. He is well connected to the
activist community, and engaging activists is key to
changing our country from it's disastrous course. An
Obama/Nader ticket sounds sweet to me.
