Another Winter Storm on the Way

The National Weather Service in Spokane has issued a Winter Weather 
Warning for the Washington and Idaho Palouse from 4 P.M. today through 4 
P.M. Thursday, 2/07/08.

This storm is predicted to move into the area late this afternoon and 
continue on into early Thursday. Light snow this afternoon will increase 
in intensity overnight with total snow accumulations of 5-7 inches 
possible. Some local areas may experience more. In addition, winds of 15-
25 MPH are predicted with gusts of 30 MPH resulting in blowing and 
drifting snow.

We are monitoring the progress of this storm and if conditions warrant 
will inform students, faculty and staff of the operational status of the 
University. Please monitor the UI web page at www.uidaho.edu for 
information.

Other communications tools may also be used, including email, telephonic 
contact, as well as informing local news media of the status of the 
University.
