The University of Idaho 2008 recruiting class:Henry Asuega, defensive tackle, 6-0, 268, Corona High School, Corona, Calif.:
Played fullback and defensive tackle in high school … as a junior, had
28 solo tackles and 17 assists for a total of 45 – an average of 5.6
per game … also had four sacks and one fumble recovery … had a
single-tame high 10 tackles … missed part of junior season but still
earned second-team all-Mountain View League recognition … missed senior
season because of surgery to repair injury sustained during junior

Southwest Washington NFL Punt, Pass and Kick competition when he was in

was a first-team all-South Puget Sound League North Division choice in

Miller), “He was the best kicker I saw this year. He had a real nice
pop when the ball came off his foot.”Robert Hatchett III, wide receiver, 5-9, 159, Centennial High School, Compton, Calif.:
Four-year varsity player … first team Dream Team by the Long Beach
Telegraph newspaper … as a senior, had 64 receptions for 1,585 yards
and 17 TDs … also gained 970 yards rushing and had eight TDs in
addition to returning three kickoffs, one punt and two interceptions
for scores … also passed for two TDs … in one Southern Section
Northwest Division playoff game, he had 328 all-purpose yards and
scored four TDs – two on runs, one on a reception and another on a
99-yard kickoff return … after that game his coach, Aaron Craver, said,
“It was alarming the frequency with which he had those types of games.
He did that just about every week.”Isaiah Lavea, defensive tackle, 6-2, 285, Kamehameha High School, Honolulu, Hawaii:
Played in East-West all-star game … second-team all-Interscholastic
League defensive lineman … two-year starter … said head coach David
Stant, “He’s big and strong. He’s really physical. He’s very quiet; a
gentle giant.” … said position coach Kanani Sousa, “Isaiah is a very,
very naturally strong athlete. He possesses a lot of natural strength.
He’s has very good size. He’s smart and he works at all the things that
he has to to be successful. He has a great work ethic and he’s a

second-team all-Southern Nevada after accounting for 63 total tackles
and nine sacks … also played volleyball.Troy Vital, running back, 6-0, 203, Copperas Cove High School, Copperas Cove, Texas:
First-team Class 4A Associated Press All-State selection … as a senior,
carried the ball 243 times for 2,034 yards (8.4 per carry) and 25
touchdowns … never fumbled … set Copperas Cove single-team rushing
record of 327 yards on 18 carries … also scored four TDs in that game …
also runs track … at District 16-4A championships as a junior, finished
second in the 300 hurdles, third in the long and triple jumps, was on
the winning 4x400 relay team and on the runner-up 4x200 relay team.
