[Vision2020] Sarah Palin

Sarah Palin openly stated in November 2006 (less than two years ago) that
she supported financing "the bridge to nowhere" project, a project that
subsequently resulted in an investigation of a congressman (Stevens, R-
Alaska) for fraud. She now claims that she never made such a statement
(although it was published in the Anchorage Daily News).

This goes beyond political "fibs" that we have all learned to take with
the proverbial grain of salt.

This is hardly the person I want a heartbeat away from the presidency,
especially with McCain (a 72-year-old, cancer survivor with "senior
moments") at the helm.

"We're a town of about 23,000 with 10,000 college students. The college
students are not very active in local elections (thank goodness!)."
