Yes, I imagine we are going to have congestion we hadn't anticipated.  

I'm wondering if there has been a shuttle service put in place at the mall.  I haven't read about one.  One thing we could do is carpool.  I would be happy to pick up 3 people about 11:45 from somewhere in the vacinity of Cleveland and Public or in that area north of the Junior High.

  For those folks who are planning to attend the memorial service for Officer Newbill please be aware that Moscow can expect law enforcement officials from all over the United States to attend the service. There is a tremendous sense of camaraderie and support (as there should be) among those who serve our country and our community in this capacity and our streets will, most likely, be packed with motorcycles and police vehicles as they arrive to honor their fallen comrade.

  There will be long lines of men and women in uniform making their way into the service so plan your day accordingly and arrive early.

  Jill and I had the privilege of attending the service in Southern Idaho for two officers who were slain in the line of duty several years ago and we were both moved and uplifted by the show of support we witnessed that day. Honestly, it opened our eyes to the commitment level of these hardworking men and women.
